Cris Glascow
Cris has spent the last twenty three years in training roles, specialising in training design, face to face and distance delivery and tutoring. In addition to his various commercial roles, he has been a tutor, question writer and examiner, with a number of professional institutes including the CII, CISI and LIBF. This has equipped him with an excellent knowledge of the industry and facilitates a successful learning environment.
A key strength is his knowledge and understanding of developments within the industry and the economy as a whole and how these relate to product providers, investment managers, advisers and clients alike.
Amongst a variety of other assignments, Cris currently trains and designs study material for CII, LIBF and CISI qualifications: at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.
His record of success in qualifications training in the financial services industry is second to none. Cohorts frequently achieve 100% pass rates in Level 4, 6 and 7 qualifications and many of his students receive prestigious awards for the grades they achieve.
Cris has also completed a number of important financial qualifications himself. He has attained the CISI Level 7 Diploma in Wealth Management qualification, the CISI Level 7 Diploma in Advanced Financial Planning (the CFP Case Study), the CISI Level 6 Certificate in Pension Transfers & Planning Advice, the CISI Level 6 Diploma in Capital Markets and the CII’s Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. He continues to gain further qualifications as part of his own rigorous continuing professional development programme. He also holds a relevant recognised training qualification.
Outside of work, Cris enjoys relaxing with his family, writing, illustration, comedy, history, railways, his garden and most sports.
